We offer a wide range of introductory courses and programs
Try Scuba & Passport Scuba Diver Program
The Try Scuba and Passport Scuba Diver program considers as an introductory scuba program. The Try Scuba portion of the program is designed to simply introduce you to scuba diving in a pool or confined water. Once you complete your pool or confined water training, continue your adventure in the open water by continuing in the Passport Scuba Diver Program.
Earn your Passport Scuba Diver certification by completing the required open water dives with our Instructors. Upon successful completion, you may continue to enjoy scuba diving under the direct supervision of an Instructor or dive leader for up to 12 months. Engaging in such activities during the initial 12-month period automatically extends your passport for an additional 12 months. The Passport Scuba Divers are qualified to participate in supervised dives in conditions similar to those in which they are trained.
As an active Passport holder, you are encouraged to continue your diving education by attending our Scuba Diver Certification Program. The successful completion of the Scuba Diver Program bestows upon you the freedom to dive independent of direct supervision, and if you enroll within six months of your most recent Passport experience, your skills proficiency may be credited towards the requirements of the course. (Credit for previous experience is at the sole discretion of the receiving Octopus or Octopus' Instructor.)
Getting started is easy! Individuals ages 10+ and in good physical condition may enroll in a Try Scuba and Passport Diver program. Individuals ages 8+ may participate in the confined water portion of the program.

Imagine floating on a clear sea of liquid watching underwater creatures face-to-face. If this sounds like something you would love to do, then the Skin Diver or Junior Skin Diver course is for you!
Once you’ve completed your training and two open water dives, you will have the skills you need to be a comfortable and safe skin diver. Your Instructor will coach you through the process of snorkeling and breath-hold diving and your fun will grow as your skills increase!
Fun for the whole family, this certification class is for 8 year-olds and older whether you are an accomplished swimmer or someone who has never spent time in the water. (Even the younger family members can share the fun: 5-year olds and older can enjoy a “Snorkeling for Kids of All Ages” non-certification class.)
